Recycle Your Electrical Items & Batteries
Bradfords’ Commitment To The Recycling Of WEEE - Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment
When you buy a new electrical item from us, we'll recycle the one you’re replacing for free. Bring the old electrical item in within 28 days of your purchase, show us the receipt for its replacement and we’ll take care of the rest.
When you see this symbol please do not dispose of the product in household or general waste.
Failure to incorrectly manage e-waste not only poses a massive threat to the environment and human health but also creates a loss of valuable resources, which has a substantial impact on the economy and climate change.
Bring Your Used Batteries (Including Rechargeable) Into Your Local Store - Types of Batteries Accepted:
- Lithium-ion (li-ion) batteries
- Alkaline & Carbon Zinc batteries
- Lead Acid Gel batteries
- Lithium (primary) batteries
- We cannot accept vehicle or industrial batteries - these should be taken to your local household waste and recycling centre.
You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries.
