The Makita LXT DUH523 is a useful cordless hedge cutter packed with great features. The trimmer is powered by a single 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery (not included), to deliver up to 1,350 strokes per minute. (It is not compatible with G-Series batteries).
Features & Benefits:
- It has a unique anti-vibration system with 5 cushions to absorb and greatly reduce the amount of vibration to the operator which eases the hedge cutting process.
- Equipped with a 2 handed operation switch; the motor will only be activated when the switch and top handle are engaged.
- Rubberized soft grip provides comfortable and sure grip.
- Electric brake for operator safety.
- Stain-free shear blade surface obtained by non-electrolyzed nickel plating that features high anti-abrasion surface for long lasting coating.
- The 520mm blade can be removed without dis-assembling the housing.
- Battery capacity warning lamp - Blinking red; Battery power has been nearly used up. Solid red; Battery power has been used up. The battery protector will shut off the power.
