The DHR242Z is a compact and lightweight Brushless SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer is powered by 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery, with brushless motor, variable speed control by trigger and constant speed control, to deliver up to 4,700 bpm, 950 rpm and 2.0 Joules impact energy.

Equipped with 3 mode operation for rotation only, hammer only or rotation with hammer, one touch sliding chuck for SDS-Plus bits for quick and easy bit installations and removals and 40 different chisel positions over 360 degrees.

Features an easy to grip handle, designed to give maximum power thrust and provide a sure and comfortable grip in any operation, whether it be an overhead application, drilling with palm up or with palm down.

The tool body is separated into the upper and lower housings at the foot of the handle portion where the houses are joined with vibration absorbing cushion rubbers. Not compatible with G-Series batteries.
