Makita DHR171Z Brushless SDS Drill (Body Only)

The Makita DHR171Z is a compact cordless SDS-Plus lightweight 18v rotary hammer drill, powered by 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery (not included), with a powerful brushless motor that increases battery runtime by around 30% and has reduced maintenance and downtime.

This unit features 2 modes of operation, rotary only for drilling steel, plastic and wood and rotary hammer for masonry drilling, one touch sliding chuck for quick and easy bit installations and removals, electric brake for increased operator safety and depth gauge for increased drilling consistency.

With variable speed controlled by trigger to enable the user to match the speed to the application and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load, to deliver up to 680 rpm, 4,800 ipm and 1.2 Joules impact energy for a wide variety of applications.

Features vibration absorbing housing and battery protection circuit designed to prevent damages to the battery due to over-hearing, over-discharge or overload current. This hammer drill is not compatible with G-Series batteries.
