Dulux Trade Weathershield Preservative Primer 1ltr
It provides an 8 year weathering durability, when used as part of the full Weathershield exterior paint system.
Features & Benefits:
- A water-based preservative basecoat for use as part of the Weathershield Exterior Gloss System (WEGS)
- 8 year all weather protection.
- Penetrates & seals news bare wood.
- Protects from decay & blue stain fungi.
- Drying time (recoat): Allow the previous coat to soak in before applying the next
- Drying time (touch dry): 16-24 hours
- Suitable Surface: Wood (Use pre-treated timber for in ground contact situations).
- Coverage: Up to 5m² per litre
- General No. of Coats Required: 2
- Preparation: Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from any surface coating, mould or algae before use. Lightly sand before application of Weathershield Exterior Flexible Undercoat, or Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat.
- Application: Brush only. Do not spray. Mix thoroughly by shaking the container before use. Pour out a sufficient amount of primer for the job into a suitable container. Do not thin. Apply two even coats. Allow 24 hours for second coat to dry.
- Cleaning: After use, remove as much primer as possible from equipment before cleaning with water.
- Storage: Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
- Disposal: If you have leftover paint ,please dispose of it responsibly.
- Recylcing: When this paint container is empty please recylce.
