Leadership

John joined the Bradfords Group Board on 1st November 2022.  He has enjoyed a long and varied career in many different sectors and brings extensive experience, knowledge and skills to the Board.  He has held a number of senior roles with St Gobain, BPB, Jablite and Superglass amongst others.  He is currently a Professor of Practice in Strategy and Leadership at Warwick Business School.

Alan joined the Bradfords Group Board in August 2017 and has a broad business background in a variety of industries. He graduated from Cambridge University in 1997 with a degree in Engineering, and has since held executive roles in engineering, sales, marketing, and general management. He currently advises numerous high-growth tech companies, mentors entrepreneurs at Cambridge University’s Judge Business School, and is a keen amateur property developer.

David joined the Bradfords Group Board in May 2022 having worked, primarily within Finance, across a number of enterprises and sectors, including FMCG, infrastructure, publishing and the law.  He graduated from Oxford University in PPP (Psychology and Philosophy) in 1985 and has since been involved with his former College in a number of capacities.  As a Chartered Accountant who has operated at Board level roles during the past two decades, David continues to advise the business in which he most recently held the role of Group Finance Director.

Lee joined Bradfords in 2009 and was appointed Finance Director of Bradfords Building Supplies in March 2017.  He joined the Bradfords Group Board and was appointed Group Finance Director in April 2020.  Lee has held a number of senior finance roles in the construction industry after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton.  Prior to that he also served in the Royal Navy as a Warfare & Navigating Officer for 8 years.

David joined Bradfords in 2014 and was appointed Managing Director for Bradfords Building Supplies in September 2015. He joined the Bradfords Group Board in June 2017 and was appointment Group CEO in May 2019.  David has worked in the construction materials industry throughout his career including 18 years at Wolseley. He specialises in developing businesses through strong relationships with customers, suppliers and employees.

Paul joined the Bradfords Group Board on 1st September 2024 and has extensive industry knowledge and experience having held positions of Commercial Director at Buildbase, Director of Sustainable Solutions at SIG Plc and more recently as CEO at Buildbase.
