Masonry Nails
Masonry nails have a sharp, precision engineered point for easy penetration into hard surfaces, ensuring a strong grip. They have a fluted shank which enhances stability by providing additional gripping power, preventing unwanted withdrawal. Masonry nails are typically made from hardened steel to withstand the resistance of hard surfaces such as concrete, brick, or stone. Some masonry nails are coated with zinc or galvanised steel to enhance corrosion resistance. To install these nails, it is recommended that pilot holes are pre-drilled into the masonry using a masonry drill bit and a hammer drill. Once the hole has been created the nail can be hammered into the hole until it is securely anchored in the material. At Bradfords we stock a range of masonry nails available in various lengths and sizes. When selecting nails for your project you should consider the thickness and type of material being used.
