How Does It Work?

How Much Does an Estimate Cost?

Prices vary according to the size and complexity of your project with prices starting from just £75+vat.  In many cases, the cost of the estimate can be deducted from the price of any materials you subsequently purchase from us. 

What Do You Need in Order to Supply my Estimate?

We’ll need a full set of Architect’s drawings.  Usually this includes the existing and proposed elevations along with any specifications you have been given.  We’ll also need the contact details for your preferred Builders so that we can include labour rates. 

What’s Included with my Estimate?

You’ll receive a full breakdown of materials and labour for your project.  You can see an example estimate here.

What if my Plans Change?

If your plans change after the job has been priced, you may need to have it re-estimated.  Your Builder will usually be able to advise you if this is necessary.  There will be an additional charge for re-estimating but it will be proportionate to the size of the changes – if it’s a small change, it’ll be a small charge.  

How long is my estimate valid for?

Your estimate will remain valid on the system indefinitely and you can have the prices re-run at any time, free-of-charge.  For example, you may have an estimate done today for works which cannot commence for several months.  In that case, you would simply have the estimate re-run, the prices would be updated and you would have the latest prices on hand.
