Mot Type 1

MOT Type 1 is a subbase and it is usually manufactured from crushed limestone or granite.  The size of material ranges from 40mm to dust.  It is mainly used beneath roads, driveways, paths, and patios.  It is an ideal material for creating a solid foundation that helps to prevent the surface from becoming damaged.  Once laid, this material must be compacted to ensure the base is stable.
