Beads
Beads are manufactured from metal and are installed at corners or joints to provide a sharp straight edge to work to when finishing a wall or ceiling. Galvanised steel or aluminium are the most common materials used for beads.
Corner beads are used to reinforce the corners of walls and to give a straight edge when applying a finish material, like plaster. Shadow beads are used to create a shadow on the edge of the plaster, creating a feature in the room.
Beads can be difficult to transport and can be damaged during transit. Bradfords can deliver these and other builders metalwork directly to you and will ensure they arrive in perfect condition, ready to use. Alternatively, you can order online and collect from your local Bradfords branch.
