Bradfords building on the success of Bodyboarding.

As well as being the current sponsors of Division 1 side Yeovil Town, Bradfords have now teamed up with the British Bodyboard Club to sponsor the International Division at the 2008 National Championships.

Mike Tidmarsh, Bradfords’ Sales and Marketing Director said “we snapped up the opportunity to get involved with the Bodyboard Club”. He went on to say, “Bodyboarding is a grass-roots extreme sport that really appealed to us. We have a strong presence in Devon and Cornwall where some of the best British Bodyboarders are based; and our sponsorship of the International division will hopefully ensure a cosmopolitan feel for the event”.

The Bodyboard Club announced at it’s AGM that 1st Place in the Open division at the Nationals would attract a £1,000 prize courtesy of The Auto Sleepers Group, doubling the previous award. Through the support of Bradfords and other sub-sponsors, every division at the Nationals will have cash prizes for 1st to 4th this year.
